Frank Convit, lyric baritone who has performed with notable companies such as New Orleans Opera, Portland Opera and Mobile Opera, also brings a decade of formal teaching experience to the table. Most recently, Frank taught voice lessons and beginner piano lessons to students of all ages and backgrounds at the Louisiana Academy of Performing Arts from 2020-2021. Frank was also the Choir Director at St. Francis Xavier School for three years and the Director of Middle School Choir at St. George's Episcopal School for three years. He incorporates Music Theory and Solfège where necessary into vocal lessons as well. Additionally, Frank was a judge for the Wood Vocal Competition 2020 and the Louisiana Kids Competition 2022.
